Ian Campa passed away on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024, he was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend, best man, best friend, confidant, and person to so many, his loved ones described as gentle, considerate, perceptive, and socially wise. He was 31 years old. Ian graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree before attending the University of Miami to obtain his law degree. In addition to being a well regarded academic, Ian was also an inquisitive and voracious reader during his career as an attorney.
He was said to have died by suicide. Ian’s enthusiasm, empathy, and dedication to the law made him an extraordinarily talented lawyer. Ian had a strong passion for politics and a natural ability to influence not only people in his immediate vicinity but also the marginalized and those without a powerful voice.
